Greater Accra representative of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Edmund Ackah, has labelled Accra Hearts of Oak as noisemakers.
According to the outspoken member of the Porcupine Warriors, he was shocked by the reaction of followers of the Rainbow side after they drew one-all at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, July 24.
“I am surprised at the behaviour of Hearts of Oak fans after a mere draw with Kotoko. I honestly don’t know what their celebration is about. Is it because they are leading the league or what? The same fans who were predicting a five-nil win for their side were jubilating over a mere draw. It tells you about the mentality of their side. They are just noisemakers,” Mr Ackah told Class Sports.
The Phobians are leading the GPL table with 38 points while their sworn rivals Kotoko are fourth with 33, with nine matches of the 2015/16 season remaining.
