I can qualify Okwawu to the Premier League - Bogdanovic

Former Bechem United and Aduana coach Milislav Bogdanovic has expressed interest in coaching Premier league campaigners Okwawu United.

The 56 year-old Montenegrin who qualified Bechem United in 2012/13 season believes he has what it takes to qualify the Asase Aban lads back to the elite league.

This comes at the back of Okwawu United suspending their substantive coach Mohammed Gargo for indefinitely for vacating post without permission.

“I love coaching traditional clubs because when the going becomes tough you fall on the unflinching support of the fans to deliver and I love the way the club supporters behave.

“After wild allegations against me during my reign at Aduana, club like Hearts had shown interest in me but the allegation put them off which was unfortunate”, he told Starr Sports.

Okwawu after the first round of the Zone 3 Division One League lie fifth with 26 points.

Bogdanovic is currently available after mutually terminating his contract with another division one side Tano Bofoakwa.
