GFA set to secure Samsung sponsorship deal for GPL

The Ghana Football Association are on the verge of securing sponsorship from Samsung for the second round of the GPL.

Exclusive reports reaching Footballmadeinghana.com on Monday Afternoon indicate that the GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has already met the top hierarchy of the Company and a deal is almost complete.

Samsung which deals in Electrical gadgets will sponsor the Ghana League for three years and they will have numerous benefits which includes their logo being placed on all of the club jersey’s.

The current GPL is without Sponsorship after First Capital Plus Bank withdrew their package before the start of the season.

Many of the clubs in the GPL are in serious financial difficulties with the likes of New Edubiase threatening to withdraw because of lack of funds.
