MTN FA Cup: Bechem United shock Kotoko

Asante Kotoko have been kicked out of the MTN FA CUP after losing 2-3 on penalties to Bechem united on Sunday.

Yaw Anol gave Bechem United the lead in the 7th minute before Bennett Ofori drew the Porcupine Warriors level 15 minutes into the second half.
Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed failed to give the home team the lead after missing a spot kick in the 76th minute.

Both teams could not utilize the opportunities that came their way as the game ended in a stalemate in regulation time.

The game could not produce any more goals in extra time which saw the match travelling to penalty shootouts.

The Hunters will face second tier side WA rockets who also shocked premier league leaders All Stars in the semi-final stage.
