Lierse SK’s wizard dribbler Charles Ankomah has said that wearing the Ghana national jersey will be a great honour for him.

“My biggest dream as a player is to wear the national jersey for Ghana,” he told Joe Debrah on Happy [98.9] FM’s Sunday morning sports program.

“I have something in me to offer and I think getting a call up into the national team will give me the platform to showcase my talents and abilities to Ghanaians,” the former JMG academy player said.

Charles Ankomah graduated from the Dodowa based JMG soccer academy to the junior side of Lierse SK.

However, he got promoted to the senior side in the 2013/2014 season. The versatile midfielder scored three (3) goals out of twenty-three (23) matches for Lierse in the Belgian Pro League last season.
