Udinese have been a blessing to Ghanaian and African players - Agyemang Badu

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says is Italian Serie A club Udinese have been a blessing to Ghanaian and African footballers.

The hardworking midfielder argues that Zebrette have helped hone talents of his compatriots.

Badu has been with the side since 2010, appearing 124 times for the club and scoring 10 goals in the process.

"I've gained much experience from the this club. You know Udinese Calcio have been the only club I've played in Europe. They have done a lot for me," he told Kumasi-based Metro FM.

"Because of what players like Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah have done for the club it's a blessing club for Ghanaian players and African players as well.

"I respect the club very much since they have helped me a lot."

Badu has been linked with a move away from the club in the summer transfer period.
