Troubled Vitesse Rocked By Amoah Blow

09/19/2003. Troubled Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem have been rocked by an injury to Ghanian striker Matthew Amoah.

Vitesse, who are deep in debt and second from bottom in the Eredivisie, will be without Amoah for up to three months after he underwent surgery on a knee injury.

18 Sept 2003 -- Eredivisie outfit Vitesse Arnhem will have to do without their prolific striker Matthew Amoah who was forced to undergo keyhole surgery yesterday to determine the exact damage done after injuring his right knee during Saturday's game with RBC Roosendaal.

The Ghanaian international will definitely be out of action for this weekend's match against Roda JC
