Promising defender Derrick Luckassen scored for AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands with Johnathan Opoku also continuing his scoring form for VVV Venlo.

Samuel Inkoom was sent off while in action for Antalyaspor in Turkey.

Afriyie Acquah was booked and played the entire game for Torino in their 1-1 draw with Lazio on Sunday.

Kwadwo Asamoah warmed the Juventus bench in their 2-0 win at Atalanta.

Raman Chibsah came off the bench to play for Frosinone in their 2-0 win over Udinese. Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu lasted 59 minutes for Udinese.

Bologna and Carpi shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. Ghana midfield pair of Godfred Donsah and Isaac Cofie clashed in midfield. Donsah was replaced after 77 minutes but Cofie played the entire game.

Defender Bright Addae was unused as he warmed the bench for Ascoli in their 2-0 loss at Crotone.

In other games, Emmanuel Gyasi missed out of the Carrarese when they won 2-1 at L Aquila. But Genoa loanee Moro Al-Hassan played in defence for Carrarese.

Dennis Kumih was unused by Rimini who drew 1-1 with Pisa.

Caleb Ekuban and Isaac Ntow played for Renate in their 4-0 home drubbing by Alessandria.

Manchester City loanee Thomas Agyepong came off the bench to play for FC Twente in their 2-1 loss at ADO Den Haag.

Marcel Appiah was introduced in the last five minutes by NEC Nijmegen who won 1-0 against Heracles Almelo.

Derrick Luckassen was the opening goal for AZ Alkmaar in their 2-0 win over ten-man Excelsior Rotterdam.

Divine Naah played 66 minutes for NAC Breda who won 3-1 against against Achilles 29.

Leeroy Owusu and Elton Acolatse were in full time action for Jong Ajax when they lost 2-1 against Almere City.

Erixon Danso and Raymond Gyasi were in action for Emmen when they drew 0-0 with G.A. Eagles.

FRIENDLIES

Winger Ernest Asante and Kamal Issah played for Stabaek when the Blue Ones suffered a 1-0 loss against Mjondalen. New recruit Shadrach Eghan was not in the Stabaek squad for the game.

Nana Boateng and Mohammed Abu were in action for Stromsgodset who drew 3-3 with Valerenga 3-3 on Saturday.

THAILAND

Dominic Adiyiah played for Nakhon Ratchasima who suffered a 1-0 home loss against Muang Thong United in the Thai Premier League.

SWEDEN

Ebenezer Ofori was not in the AIK Solna team that won 2-1 against Falkenbergs in the Swedish Cup.

Ghanaian pair of Nasiru Mohammed and Mohammed Abubakari lasted the entire game for BK Hacken who won 4-0 against Gefle IF.

Enock Adu Kofi was not in the Malmo FF side that hammered Sundsvall 4-0.

In other games, Kingsley Sarfo played the entire duration of the game for Sirius who drew 1-1 with Angelholms.

Elsewhere midfielder Thomas Boakye scored a 93rd minute goal for Varberg who beat Tenhults 1-0 to move third in Group 3.

SPAIN

Christian Atsu played the entire period of the game for Malaga who drew 3-3 at Deportivo La Coruna.

Bernard Mensah was unused by Getafe who drew 1-1 with Sevilla on Saturday.

But Mubarak Wakaso missed Las Palmas's 1-0 win at Villarreal.

Thomas Partey returned from injury to warm the bench for Atletico Madrid in their 3-1 away win at Valencia.

Goalkeeper Razak Brimah manned the post for Cordoba and helped them to a 2-1 away win over Athletic Bilbao B. Cordoba have dropped 4th despite the win.

Fatau Mohammed played the entire second-half for Almeria in their 0-0 draw with Tenerife.

Defender Kassim Nuhu was unused by Real Mallorca who won 1-0 against Real Oviedo.

Clifford Aboagye scored a 40th minute consolation goal for Granada B who lost 2-1 at UCAM Murcia. Neither Richard Boateng nor Jafar Ibrahim was in the Granada squad for the game.

Edwin Gyimah played the entire minutes of the game Orlando Pirates in their 2-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.

SERBIA

Francis Kyeremeh played in an attacking midfield role for Jagodina who lost 3-1 at Red Star Belgrade.

Samuel Owusu played 70 minutes for Surdulica in their 0-0 draw with Metalac on Sunday.

Former Asante Kotoko youth team midfielder Regan Obeng played 78 minutes for Cukaricki in their 1-0 win over Javor.

SCOTLAND

Prince Buaben and Abdul Osman clashed in midfield when Heart of Midlothian defeated Partick Thistle.

SAUDI ARABIA

There was no Sulley Muntari in the Al Ittihad team that were held to a 0-0 draw at Al Fateh on Saturday.

RUSSIA

Rabiu Mohammed was booked in the first-half and played 71 minutes for Kuban Krasnodar who lost 1-0 against Rubin Kazan' in the Russian Premier League.

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong could not make the FK Ufa team in their 1-1 draw with Moscow Saransk.

PORTUGAL

There was no Osei Barnes in the Pacos Ferriera side that drew 2-2 with Maritimo.

Joseph Amoah could not make the Vitoria Guimaraes squad for their for their 2-0 loss at Academica Coimbra. Richard Ofori was also not in the Academica team.

Emmanuel Hackmann was booked in the 11th minute and played the entire duration of the game for Boavista in their 1-0 home loss against Nacional.

Emmanuel Boateng and Ernest Ohemeng were both bench warmer for Moreinense who won 1-0 against Setubal.

Former Inter Milan Primavera striker Said Ahmed Said played full throttle for Olhanense who drew 0-0 at FC Porto B.

Winger Ishmael Yartey was unused by Gil Vicente who won 2-0 against Leixoes.

Both Emmanuel Oti and Lumor Agbenyenu played for Portimonense and Sporting Braga B when the latter won 5-1. Oti was replaced by Braga B in the 71st minute.

Asiedu Attobrah failed to make the Kortrijk squad for their 1-0 win over Zulte-Waregem on Saturday.

Nana Akwasi Asare was in action for Gent who were held to a 1-1 draw by OH Leuven. Midfielder Samuel Asamoah was unused by Leuven.

Mitch Apau played in lateral defence for Westerlo who lost 2-1 at Lokeren. Belgian-born Ghanaian defender Denis Odoi played the entire game for Lokeren.

Winger Frank Acheampong lasted the entire period of the game for Anderlecht who lost 2-1 at Mouscron Peruwelz.

Benjamin Tetteh lost his place in the Standard Liege team that won 2-1 against KRC Genk. Midfielder Bennard Kumordzi was unused by Genk who finished the game with ten men.

Lierse SK and KSV Roeselare shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. Midfielder Charles Ankomah came off the Lierse bench to play while William Owusu started for KSV Roeselare.

Eric Ocansey played the entire match for AS Eupen in their 2-1 win over Cercle Brugge KSV.

AUSTRIA

Red Bull Salzburg defeated Grodig 3-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday. David Atanga lost his place in the Salzburg squad but Reagy Ofosu impressed on the flanks for Grodig.

In the second-tier league, David Atanga, Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Raphael Dwamena all started for Liefering in their 2-1 loss at Kapfenberg.

TURKEY

John Boye played in lateral defence for Sivasspor who lost 1-0 at Mersin on Friday.

Samuel Inkoom was sent off in the 75th minute while in action for Antalyaspor in their 2-1 loss at Kasimpasa.

In the second-tier league, former New Edubiase United captain Moro Ibrahim and defender Joseph Attamah played the entire game for Adana Demirspor in their 0-0 draw at Kardemir Karabuk.

CYPRUS

Former Manchester City midfielder Razak Nuhu played the entire 90 minutes for Anothorsis Famagusta in their 3-0 away loss at Omonia Nicosia.
