Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak is delighted for Ghanaian youngster Hiram Boateng who made his English Premier League debut last week.

Boateng was a 72nd-minute substitute in a 1-1 away stalemate at Swansea on 06 February.

The 20-year-old earned rave reviews for his performance but that has received praises from Jedinak who told the club's Official website.

“It was also great to see Hiram Boateng get a Premier League game,” he told cpfc.co.uk

“He is a kid with tremendous talent and I’ve seen him come up through the ranks. He came through a little bit of fortune with a few injuries but he’s been put there because he deserved it and I’m over the moon for him.

“Hopefully now he’s got that taste and can keep pushing everyone else around him to do the same thing and get even further.”
