“This is my time to be champion,” declared a fired-up Michael Pappoe (13-2, 12 KO’s) as he prepares for what could be the toughest test of his career in undefeated WBA Pan-Africa and WBO Africa featherweight champion Isaac “Royal Storm” Dogboe (9-0, 5 KO’s).

The titanic clash put has been dubbed The Battle of the Rising Stars” by promoter Aborigines Beach Resort Promotion and is scheduled to take place on February 20th at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex in Kaneshie, Accra.

According to Pappoe, the highly anticipated card will be his best chance to launch himself on to the world stage.

“Dogboe is nobody to me, he should get prepared because he is about to face Michael Pappoe,” he told Bukomboxingnews.com. “This is the perfect time for me to be a champion. I have watched Dogboe’s fight several times and he should get himself prepared.

The 28-year-old Bukom boxer continued with his barbs: “All the boxers Dogboe had fought are not worth my time. I watched his last bout at the Accra Sports Stadium and I told myself that I can beat him and this is the time.

“I’m a person that I smells boxing, eat boxing, drinks boxing and sleeps boxing. Boxing is my life and Dogboe can’t stop me in taking the two titles from him. Host of boxers have ran away from me whenever they hear they are going to fight me because they know I’m a dangerous guy.”
