Elvis Amoh converted a penalty to hand Kotoko a 1-0 win over second-tier side Vision FC in a low-profile pre-season friendly on Saturday.

Burkinabe import Halipha Sedogo won the penalty for the Ghanaian giants after he was heckled by an opponent.

Tall-lanky striker Elvis Amoah picked his spot to score what proved the match-winner at the Tema Sports stadium.

The game was one of recent friendlies by the Porcupine Warriors aimed at solidifying the team ahead of the start of the new season.

The dethroned Ghanaian champions will begin their campaign with a tricky tie at WAFA.
