Hearts of Oak of Oak Burkina goalie Soulama Abdoulaye has thrown his weight behind Kenichi Yatsuhasi by claiming the team is sturdily improving under the Japanese tactician.

Hearts of Oak have struggled to impose themselves in the Ghana Premier League with disappointing performance week in week out.

The Phobian however recorded an impressive 2-0 victory over Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah in an international Friendly over the weekend, coincidentally that was the first victory for the club under Kenichi in a high profile friendly.

And Soulama says the team is gradually showing improvement under Kenichi Yatsuhasi.

“People have said so many things since the coach took charge but even though results in the friendly matches have not been the best we the players know the improvements that have been made,” Soulama told Accra based Citi-fm

“Effort in training has improved and the coach is working very well.

“We look better in a number of departments already and we hope that it continues that way.”
