Gyan scores 4 against Metro TV Stars

Asamoah Gyan select side called G-Unit managed to beat Metro TV 8-5 on Friday at the Kotobabi Wembley Park under floodlight in a friendly encounter.

Some of the notable players and ex-footballers who featured for Gyan's side were Baffour Gyan, Peter Ofori Quaye, Awuley Quaye Jnr., Takyi Mensah, Ahmed Barusso, all former Black Stars players, Andy Kwaku Obeng, a former player for Kumasi based King Faisal.

Asamoah Gyan, the all-time leading top scorer of the Black Stars made the difference between his side and the Metro TV team, as his four goals aided the G-unit, in carrying the day.

Michael Oduro, a sports host of Metro TV, also made a huge impact by hitting a brace for his side. The likes of Laryea Kingston, Yusif Chibsah, both ex-Black Stars players, Kwabena Kwabena and Jupiter, both musicians, played as guest players for Metro TV.
