Ghanaian Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have insisted no offers have been received for defender Abeiku Ainooson despite media reports linking the center-back with a move away from the club.

Sudanese side AL Hilal are said to be close to signing the 25-year-old with Kotoko opened to the move.

The dethroned Ghana Premier League champions confirmed they are opened to discussions for the sale of the Local Black Stars defender but General Manager of the club Samuel Opoku Nti has revealed no offers have come in yet.

“Kotoko have not received any offer from any club. But if they are really interested then I urge them to come forward because if the player wants to leave, we will not stand in his way,” he told Sports Crusader.

Ainooson is on his third season with the Porcupine Warriors after moving to the Baba Yara Stadium from Obuasi-based New Edubiase United.
