Adomah could return to play against Charlton

Ghana winger Albert Adomah could return to the Middlesbrough squad against Charlton in the English Championship.

The winger suffered a twisted ankle in the closing stages of Boro’s 3-1 win at Wolves last weekend, and missed Wednesday’s Capital One Cup win at Manchester United as a result.

But the Ghana international could be involved tomorrow and will be assessed ahead of the Addicks’ visit.

But Adam Forshaw will definitely miss out, coach Karanka has confirmed.
“Adam no, Albert I will check with him on Saturday,” he said when asked about the pair’s availability.

“He might be able to play through his injury, I have to know if he is fit but he has not trained with us for the last few days. I will have to work hard to assess the fitness of the players because I have players who played 120 minutes. I will have to check really.”
