Local Black Stars defender Abieku Ainooson says the team will take no chances as they go into their crucial hurdle against Cote d’ Ivoire.

Ghana will take on their Ivorian counterparts in the return encounter of the 2016 CHAN qualifiers on Friday.

Maxwell Konadu’s charges will need to avoid a defeat in other to book a place in next year’s competition slated for Rwanda.

Ainooson who is expected to play a vital role in defense for the team tomorrow, has expressed confidence ahead of the big game at the Stade Robert Champroux in Marcory.

“They came here and played a defensive formation but they got one goal out of it,” he said.

"Physically they are very strong but for us we relied on tactics and techniques to beat them in the first leg.”

“Our coaches have taught us a lot, so we are going to capitalize on it come Friday. I think it is going to be difficult but we can pull a surprise over there. Our aim is to qualify Ghana to Rwanda next year.”

Ghana will be heading into Friday’s game with a 2-1 advantage recorded in the first leg match in Kumasi.
