Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu has charged his team to play to their strength as the aim to secure a result against Cote d’Ivoire to qualify for the 2016 CHAN.

The home-based Black Stars carry a slim 2-1 lead going into the return encounter which will be played on Friday in Abidjan.

Ghana is hoping to secure a fourth consecutive qualification to the CHAN finals – a competition reserved for players plying their trade in their native countries.

Coach Maxwell Konadu however admits to Ivory Coast’s physical superiority over his team and has admonished his side to maximize their own qualities to secure the needed result.

“Physically, there are stronger than us but we look to play to our strength,” he said.

“Our strength lies in the techniques, skills and speed that we have and we must take full advantage of that.

“The Ivorians are a good side, they showed it when we played them in Kumasi but I am sure if we maximize our strengths we can beat them.”
