Medeama Sporting Club are keen on signing Kpandu Heart of Lions forward Joseph Baffour Gyawu to beef up their attack ahead of next season.

The Mauves who will be playing in the CAF Confederations Cup the coming season have started their recruitment for the coming season and the technical team have made the former Ghana Under 20 striker their top target.

Gyawu, 21, netted eight goals in the Ghana Premiership last season including a brace in Obuasi against Champions Ashgold though he spent some months on the sidelines with ankle injury.

A classy striker who can also attack from the wings with his lightening pace, Gyawu has also played in Latvia for Spartak Jurmala where he excelled greatly but chose to return home due to personal reasons.

Footballmadeinghana.com understand that officials of Medeama will begin talks with Heart of Lion in the coming week for the possible transfer of the player.
