The President of newly promoted Premier League side Dreams FC, Kurt Okraku has revealed that the club will be playing their Premier League home matches at Dawu when the 2015/16 league season finally kicks off.

According to the newly elected Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, the requirements of the Premier League Board make it difficult for them to be able to host their home matches at Kweiman.

Kurt Okraku however admitted that even though they have commenced preparations to upgrade the Kweiman Park, there is the need to get a temporal home ground where the requirements of the PLB will be met for a start.

“The people of Kweiman have been very supportive of our campaign for which reason we are forever grateful. However, the demands of campaigning in the premier league means we need to meet certain criteria to be able to compete,” Kurt Okraku said in an interview.

“As a result, while we work on having our own pitch at Kweiman, we are also looking at where we can compete immediately, hence our choice of Dawu where we have been well received by the chiefs and people of the great traditional area,” he added.

Dreams FC is one of the three Division One Clubs that has been promoted into the Ghana premier league after topping zone 3 of the just ended GN Bank DOL.
