Ghana's Fredrick Lawson is fired up for his IBF Welterweight world title eliminator live on NBC Sports Network against Kevin Bizier of Canada in Miami, USA on November 7 so much the Ghanaian has sent out a strong warning to his opponent.

Lawson famously nicknamed 'General Okunka' is currently rated number 6 Welterweight by the IBF and will set up a clash for the IBF world title against Kell Brook next year by securing victory over the number 5 rated Bizier at the Miccosukee Indian Gaming Resort, Miami, Florida. play

Undefeated Lawson (24-0, 20 KOs) who now fights out of Chicago has confidently predicted a dominating performance on fight night.

"I'd like to thank my whole team for this opportunity. I would also like to commend Kevin Bizier for having the courage to accept this fight," Lawson said at Wednesday's press conference to announce the fight.

"I know he is a good fighter, but this time he is way out of his league. Come Nov. 7, I will show him why I'm the future of the welterweight division," the Ghanaian added full of poise.

Not to be taken for granted however is the 31-year-old Bizier (24-2, 16 KOs) who has mainly fought in his native Canada but is also talking tough ahead of the meeting with 26-year-old Lawson.

"An opportunity like this is exactly what I was waiting for," Bizier said. "It is now my turn to prove I belong at the world class level. I am going to make the most of this opportunity."
