CHAN Black Stars Coach Maxwell Konadu has dropped five home–based professionals who started camping on September 20 in Obuasi ahead of a 4th African Nations Championship (CHAN) final qualifying fixture against Ivory Coast next month.

Out of the 30-man squad, the five players dropped are Bright Lukeman of Dwarfs, goalkeeper Osei Kwame of Inter Allies, Daniel Appiah (Great Olympics), Isaac Acheampong (Hasaacas) and Fatau Dauda (Kotoko).

The first leg tie of the qualifier will be played in Ghana on October 18 with the return leg scheduled for Abidjan two weeks after.

Meanwhile, the technical directorate of the Ghana FA will be on the search for a substantive coach as Konadu joins the senior Black Stars team this week for the Peru and Canada on October 9 and 13 in America.
