Dwarfs prepares for next premier league

The executive director of the Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs, Nana Brew Butler at the weekend said it was the aim of the management of the club to prepare the team to qualify for the next premier league.

He therefore appealed to the supporters to contribute their quota towards the club's qualification for the premiership next season.

Nana Butler was addressing the club's congress, organised by the supporters to map out strategies for the first division league scheduled for June 28.

Mr Yaw Ennin, chairman of the supporters union in collaboration with the executives deferred the elections of officers for both management and supporters but promised to nominate three supporters to join the old executives to manage the team for the time being.

He also appealed to the supporters not to be discouraged by the clubs inability to qualify for the premier division last season but must continue to give their support to the club.

Mr Ennin hoped that with commitment and dedication on the part of players and supporters the club would succeed.

Answering questions later Nana Butler explained that the Neoplan bus being used by the club for its assignments belonged to the club and not for any particular individual.
