GHANA CALL FOR PAT

27 may 2002 -- Patrick Agyemang is out in Africa preparing for his Ghanaian international debut.

The 22-year-old striker flew out to Ghana earlier in the week after getting the surprise call-up for this Friday's international friendly against Nigeria in Abuja.

Ghana are one of Africa's leading footballing nations, and currently stand 67th in the FIFA World Rankings after hitting the top 60 last year.
Born and bred in London, Patrick qualifies to play for Ghana due to the nationality of his parents, who hail from the African nation.
He has been training with the squad this week and is expected to be involved in the clash with the Super Eagles.
We will bring you a full interview with Patrick about his experience in Africa when he returns to England at the start of next week.
