Accord Golf all the Attention it Deserves,...... Otumfuo Osei Tutu II

16th King of the Ashante Kingdom Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has advised stakeholders to accord golf all the attention it deserves to realize its full potential.
"Golf attracts the movers, shakers and diplomats of every country. Most of the important decisions that directs a country and businesses in the right direction are hatched on the golf," Otumfuo said at the 58th MTN Gold Cup.
"We must therefore treat the sport as a national phenomenon and stop the over reliance on one particular sporting discipline to the neglect of others," he noted.
According to the noble king, in golf lies all the qualities and characters to the changing the fortunes of a society and country as a whole.
He also charged, authorities to make the sport appealing to the youth, particularly from schools where he said talents abound to take over from the older generation.
