Ghana U20 prospect Ansah powers brace for Lokeren in Belgium

Ghanaian youth international striker Eugene Ansah garnered a brace for KSC Lokeren as they thumped second-tier side OH Leuven 5-2 in a club friendly on Friday evening.

The 20-year-old former youth team player of Liberty Professionals climbed off the bench to join the action in midway through the second-half at the Daknamstadion in Lokeren.

Leuven, who competed in the Belgian top-flight last season, had cut Lokeren’s lead to 3-2 before the Ghanaian striker entered the fray.

And, he used the opportunity to express his talent up front by clinically finishing two chances in the 79th and 81st minutes to smoothly hand victory to his side.

Ansah has been on the radar of Ghana’s U20 team and he is set to be included in the preliminary squad for the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
