Afriyie Acquah makes Sampdoria return

Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah has returned to the Sampdoria squad for their big clash with Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A today.

The 22-year-old could make the trip with his Sampdoria team-mates for their 2-0 away win over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico because of suspension.

However he has returned to the side and is set to reclaim his starting role as they host Inter Milan at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris in Genova. Sampdoria manager Sinisa Mihajlovic would be welcoming the former TSG Hoffenheim midfielder back into his winsome side that has hit a rich vein of form.

Acquah and his Ghanaian compatriot Alfred Duncan who is a former Inter Milan youth team graduate are both expected to play against the Nerazzuris.
