Eulma Chase Ahmed Toure

Algerian champions MS EL Eulma have expressed a strong interest in the services of Kotoko’s lethal striker Ahmed Simba Toure, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS can confirm.

The Algerians wasted no time in making their intentions known after the striker had tormented Eulma’s rear in their CAF Champions League tie in Eulma three days ago.

Club General Manager Samuel Opoku Nti, in a chat with the players on the team’s bus en route to Algiers after the game, approached Toure and said, “The people have expressed interest in you, they want you at all cost.

“They told me after the game. We have not discussed anything yet, financial-wise. I told them we will have detailed discussions when they come for the second leg in Kumasi.”

But the player, in a quick response said, “I don’t think I will be interested, I am having fun in Kumasi with Kotoko, and looking forward to a bigger offer in Europe.”

Meanwhile, it has emerged that an unconfirmed Bundesliga side have also expressed interest in the attacker’s services.

Toure was a thorn in the flesh of the Algerians the few times he took them on in their 0-0 drawn game.
