Fiamenyo started from bench against Ngor due to low fitness level

Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo was not included in the Phobians starting line-up for the CAF Confederation Cup match against Olympique de Ngor on Sunday because he was not fully fit, DailySoccerGhana.com can exclusively report.

The ex-Lions attacker had to start from the bench due to an injury he picked up during the 1-1 draw with Hasaacas in the Premier League on March 8th.

The 22-year-old came off the bench before the start of the second half to score the winner in the 84th minute and ensure Hearts of Oak clinched a 2-1 win over the Senegalese outfit.

The medical team is still assessing Fiamenyo to make sure the goal-poacher gains full fitness before Sunday’s Premier League clash with BA United at the Accra Stadium.
