Boxing: Ayittey Powers dares Samir Bastie

International Light heavyweight title holder, Michael Okine, popularly known as Ayittey Powers, has thrown a challenge to America-based Ghanaian boxer, Samir Bastie.

Samir Bastie was close to fighting Powers’ nemesis Bukom Banku, but the latter pulled out due to issues with promotions and money.

Alex Ntiamoah from the Box Office Promotions and syndicate is believed to be the brain behind the promotion of the upcoming bout between Samir Bastie and Ayittey Powers.

Although talks are ongoing, Ayittey Powers has jumped the gun to confirm the news to Sportscrusader. com

“I will be fighting next month with Samir Bastie, and we are still negotiating, Alex is the one who is putting up this fight so we will see what will come out of it, but for now I am concentrating on training and hoping things will go ahead as planned,” Ayittey Powers told Sportscrusader.com.
