John Antwi handed 4-game ban and $800 fine by Egypt FA

Ghana’s Ismaily striker John Antwi has been handed a four-match suspension and a fine of $800 for unsporting behavior, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.

Antwi was handed the punishment by the Egypt FA after he was red carded for his assault on an Al Gaish player in last Friday's Cup match.

The former Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wise attacker, who is on the radar of Saudi Arabian club Al Shaba, scored the only goal of last week’s Cup game to help Ismaily qualify to the round of 16.

This is the second time Antwi is being punished by the Egypt FA for attacking a player following last season’s 4-game ban and fine.
