Kwoffie hails Duncan's 'intense' training methods

Great Olympics striker Francis Kwoffie insists new coach David Duncan has already made his mark by cranking up the intensity of training.

The former Hearts of Oak trainer has been hailed for his training methods as he put the team in shape ahead of the start of the new season.

The tough-talking coach is staging a return to top-flight football since he was sacked by Hearts of Oak last year and Kwoffie has been impressed by his work ethics.

“He is really into intensity. The type of training we have been doing is short and intense – really hard work but that is brilliant because as a player you would rather be on the training regime for a short time and the work to be harder,” he said.

“That is how it is in games.”

“It has been really good. We have been doing a few drills and he has given me a few personal pointers already.”

“He’s doing very well and we’re buying into his philosophy. It’s been great I must be honest with you.”

Duncan is expected to spearhead the side’s title challenge this term on their return to the top-flight football in the African country.
