Ghana FA dissolves Black Stars technical team

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dissolved the technical body of the Black Stars following the dismissal of coach Kwesi Appiah.

Assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has been informed to stay in office as the football governing body of the West African country gets set to announce Serbian Milovan Rajevac as substantive coach.

StarrFMOnline.com can confirm that the Kwesi Nyantakyi-led body met Appiah Friday to officially inform him about the decision to relieve him of his post.

Sacked Appiah has asked the Ghana FA to put their decision in writing after which he would consult his counsel for advice. The ‘Silent Killer’ has since left for Kumasi.

StarrFMOnline.com understands an official letter of dismissal will reach the former Ghana international by Monday.

The GFA has to cough up a whopping US$ 876,000 as a severance package for Appiah.
