Helsinki coach counting on Anthony Annan

HJK Helsinki coach Mika Lehkosuo hopes to profit from the experience of new recruit Anthony Annan in this season’s Europa League.

The 28-year-old completed a one-year move to the Finnish champions on a free transfer.

Annan was available after the expiration of his contract at Schalke 04.

The former Ghana international is expected to bring his experience to bare in this year’s Europa league.

“We are having a very solid midfielder in Annan and his experience is priceless,” Lehkosuo said.

“We hope to have a solid season with him.”
