AC Milan will miss 'principled' Balotelli - Sulley Muntari

Ac Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has paid a glowing tribute to Mario Barwuah Balotelli and says the new Liverpool recruit will be missed for the principles he stood for.

The controversial former Manchester City forward completed £16 million deal toAnfield on Monday. He was bought as a replacement for departed talisman Luis Suarez and Muntari says the club will miss him for many things especially his principles.

“Balotelli is one of the finest characters I have ever come across. He stands for the truth and does not want to see people underrate him or others. His special attribute was fighting for his right and that of others,” he said

“He fought racism to his best and I believe wherever he is he will continue to stand up for his right and the truth.

“I learnt a lot from him and I like him so much. Liverpool has signed a great player and I can assure everyone that he will make a big, big difference.”

“If you know Balo well you will understand him because he believes in himself and wants to create things for himself to attract the headlines not because he wants to make trouble everywhere he goes.

“If you understand him you will always get the best out of him. I wish him well and I pray he gets the job done for his new team, Liverpool.”
