Nuru Sulley returns to train with Hearts

Strong centre back, Nuru Sulley has returned to Accra Hearts of Oak. The defender was at the Hearts of Oaks training today, 12th August 2014 where he trained with the rest of the Hearts squad under manager, Herbert Addo.

Nuru who completed his move to Libyan topflight side, Al-Nasr Sports, Cultural, and Social Club has had to return to Hearts because of civil unrest currently in Libya.

After his $130,000 transfer to Al-Nasr, Nuru was expected to begin his life in Libya but that dream would have to be suspended for now due to the unrest in that region.

The defender, who spent two seasons with the Phobians, was expected to start life in Libya in the first week of August with the rest of his Al Nasr team mates after his work permit was sorted out.

Nuru, a former Tudu Mighty Jets centre-back was in Libya a few weeks ago to seal his personal terms and complete his compulsory medicals before signing the three-year deal with the Benghazi-based team.

The defender hopes a six months loan deal would be agreed between the two clubs (Al-Nasr and Accra Hearts of Oak) for him to play for Hearts in the first round of the first round of the First Capital Plus Bank Premier League Competition.

“I am back at Hearts because of the fighting in Libya. I am here with the permission of Al-Nasr. Possibly if the two teams can agree on something I will return to play for Hearts. But all the same we are all observing the situation before the final decision is taken” Nuru told sportscrusader.com.
