Atsu told to make a good loan club choice

Christian Atsu has been told by Chelsea to choose a loan club that will give him the best of chances in breaking into the new Chelsea squad after just one year.

The Ghana international is being chased by as many as 15 clubs and will have a great task in choosing one that will aid a quick development to be considered by manager Jose Mourinho in the 2015/2016-football season.

Everton, West Ham United and Aston Villa are leading the about 15 clubs that want the Black Stars player’s signature.

Christian Atsu will return to London after the extended World Cup break on Monday and meet Chelsea club officials. The player will be asked to talk to the clubs wanting him on loan which also includes Celtic, Espanyol, PSV Eindhoven and Hamburg.

A number of clubs who have already approached Chelsea for the services of Christian Atsu have been ignored as they couldn’t commit to guaranteeing the Ghanaian enough playing time.

Atsu had a good loan season with Vitesse Arnhem last season after joining Chelsea from FC Porto.
