David Accam returns to full fitness

Helsingborg striker David Accam has fully recovered from a head injury after crashing with team-mate Loret Sadiku last week.

The Ghanaian was rushed to the hospital after passing out a few minutes.

“I remember the crash but after that it was black. I passed out for a few minutes there,” Accam recollected.

Head coach for Helsingborg Roar Hansen believes his goal machine will be available for selection this weekend against Gefle.

“He is one of the largest Premier League stars we’re talking about. I think it means a lot mentally, especially to our opponents,” Hansen told reporters.

Accam watched helplessly as Helsingborg, who lie 11th on the log and four point clear of safety, got hammered 6-2 by IF Goteborg. He is the third highest scorer in the Allsvenskan with seven goals, one behind Swedish internationals G. Molins of Malmò and M. Söderqvist of Kalmar.
