Kotoko's midfielder Mpong robbed

Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Mpong yesterday lost all his belongings after some unidentified men broke into his residence in Kumasi.

Mpong who had been away for some time received the bad news upon his arrival at his residence when he was told robbers had broken into his apartment to pick up items worth thousands of cedis and just left behind his TV set.

“I was away for some time; I went to check up a few things only to came back and realize I have been robbed. They took away my woofer, my lap top and my bag,” Mpong told Accra-based Happy FM.

The midfielder who is popularly referred to as “Pedro” due to his swift nature of play and the speed he executes on the flanks says he has reported the matter to the police as well as the management of Asante Kotoko.

“I have reported it to the police. And I have also informed the management team of Kotoko”, he noted.
