Ghana received a huge injury boost on Friday when striker Abdul Majeed Waris joined the bus for training.
The Spartak Moscow player has been a worry for the medical team after injuring his thigh in the final pre-World Cup warm up against South Korea in Miami.
Waris was expected to spend ten days in the treatment room but has made a quicker than expected recovery.
He missed the team’s first training session- which was closed for public viewing-in Maceio on Thursday.
The 22-year-old will have to convince the technical of his fitness level and fight for a starting role against USA in their tournament opener on Monday.
Ten thousand home fans in Maceio will be admitted to the Estadio Rei Pele as Ghana continue to work out.
