Satellites set for qualification

Ghana’s U-20 side, Black Satellites, need a draw to advance to the last round of the qualifiers for the Africa Youth Championship when they take on their Sierra Leonean counterparts tomorrow at the Tamale Sports Stadium.

Ghana led 2-0 from the first leg in Bo a fortnight ago, and the three-time African champions will attempt to join 13 others to compete for the seven slots available for the finals to be staged in Senegal next year.

Coach Sellas Tetteh and his assistant, Yaw Preko, are expected to inspire the Satellites who are expected to parade players such as Paul Asare De Vries of Wa All Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Christopher Bonney will produce another solid display advance to the next stage.
