Nuru and Ainooson ready for Stars Fiesta

Two local defenders Nuru Sulley and Abeiku Ainooson are ready to battle it out with the Black Stars in the first ever Black Stars Farewell Match at the Accra Sports Stadium on May 23.
“I was very happy I must admit when I heard that my fans have been voting for me every day. At least it shows that I am doing something worthy of recognition”, Kotoko's Abeiku Ainooson said on Asempa fm
“Playing against the World Cup squad is every players dream but one thing that I can assure my fans is that I am not going to be a spectator. I will entreat my fans to continue voting for me so that I can once again showcase my talent in front of the whole nation, and who knows coach Kwesi Appiah might get a last minute change of mind”.
However, Hearts of Oak's combative defender Nuru Sulley applauded the organizers for putting up this event. According to him the match will give the Black Stars a test ahead of the World Cup in Brazil.
“It’s a good thing and being part of something that is happening for the first time gives me a good feeling. I only hope that other players' votes doesn't exceed mine so that I can get the chance to play on the day", the defender added.
