The Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the National Sports Authority will be marking the 13th anniversary of the May 9 Accra Sports stadium disaster on Friday 9th May, 2014 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 8:30 am. As part of the commemoration of the anniversary, the Ministry has outlined the following activities:

· Mass casualty preparedness at 8:30 am

· Wreath laying ceremony at the main entrance of the Accra Sports stadium by the Minister for youth and Sports, Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah at 10:00 am The Ministry is therefore inviting all and sundry especially supporters union, football fans and bereaved families for the anniversary.
