Isaac Cofie tweets in support of racially-abused Alves

Italy-based Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie joined his Genoa teammates to support Dani Alves who was racially abused by a Villarreal fan last Saturday.

The 22-year-old tweeted the picture of him and his teammates eating bananas and added the slogan: “Say No To Racism” in Italian.

Alves was preparing to take a corner at El Madrigal stadium when the banana landed on the pitch next to him and he responded by eating it.
