Acquah: This is my best year in Italy

Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah has stated that this year has been his best since moving to Italy some five years back.

The enforcer has been ever present in the Parma midfield putting up fantastic displays to the admiration of his coach Roberto Donadoni.

“I'm very happy with my performance and my first goal in Serie A, is not easy,” Acquah told Parma Channel. “I have played five years here in Italy and I'm glad. This year has been my best and I have played so well.”

“Against Bologna this weekend it will not be easy but with hard work we will win.”

Acquah is on loan from TSG Hoffenheim and may fall on his exploits to push for a permanent deal in the summer.
