Odotei Sowah must wait

till Nyantakyi desirously bows out of office

Any good leader doesn't need too much appraisals and favours to retain any position he occupies.

In choosing a leader, facts and a candidate’s track record cannot be over emphasized.

The current GFA boss K. Nyantakyi doesn't need any introduction and advertisement to retain his current position when any elections arise. The man is backed by a record of which no past FA president can match.

Odotei, on listening to him on one of the infamous sports programmes in Ghana, was trying to undermine the good works of Nyantakyi.

How can Odotei be GFA President? A person who could not handle even club sides, Accra Hearts of Oak and King Faisal when he was given the mantle.

As sports journalists in this country, we must be fair and factual in how we assess the potential candidacy for the FA presidency position.

Criticism must not be based on hatred or rivalry but facts, so the likes of Countryman Songo and the rest must learn this and be concise in dealing with the great and unmatched record of K. Nyantakyi.

Ghana going to the World Cup for the third consecutive time, unprecedented record to be applauded of.

CHAN team got to the African Nations Championship final for the second time, is this not an enviable record of this current football administration?

It will take me an umpteenth time to mention all what K. Nyantakyi and his administration have done over this few years but even a 2 year old baby can testify the kind of transition and quality sponsorship our domestic league is going through under this administration.

Odotei comes nowhere near Nyantakyi in terms of administrative intellect so he should stop wasting his time and resources.

Every department of the FA is seriously functioning and if the Black Stars can today qualify to the FIFA World Cup under the auspices of a local coach, it can only mean that logistics and motivation have far advanced in Ghana football.

A good administrator is the one who leaves baseless and unsubstantiated criticism behind him and focus on his good work, so the whole FA must keep up for the great job.

I am done.

Thank you.
