Bahmed Travel & Tours unveils Brazil 2014 sponsorship package for football fans

Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh CEO of Bahmed Travel & Tours, one of the most reputable travel agencies with a track record in flying football fans to international sports tournaments has launched their package for fans who want to travel to watch the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The event which took place at his Labone office attracted a lot of football fans and sports journalists as well as government officials.

Launching the package, Alhaji Bandoh who has taken fans to watch two previous FIFA World Cup tournaments in Germany in 2006 and South Africa in 2010 said he has observed and listened to customers’ complaints and hope to improve upon the other events which were without major problems.

According to Alhaji Bandoh, the World Cup in Brazil would be very special, so he has lined up a wonderful package that would see Emirates Airlines providing the plane for the chartered flight and SIC Insurance Limited offering the travel insurance for all who want to be part of the package.

He noted that Brazil has a vast land and the distances between match venues would be solved by Emirates Airlines as he has also personally gone to Brazil to work out hotel accommodation, transportation and other tourism incentives for fans.

Alhaji Bandoh expressed that his company is very reliable, put in all safety measures to make fans comfortable and has the reputation as one of the best travel and tour operators in Africa with an unblemish record.

He revealed the three categories of packages for fans as Bronze costing $6,000, whilst the Silver and Gold cost $10,000 with different incentives in bedding, breakfast and transportation. “We have secured over 1,700 rooms for fans in Fortaleza and we will fly with Emirates to other match venues or go with buses where the distance is not all that long for fans to enjoy the tourism sites in Brazil” he told your truly.

Honourable Antwi Bosiako, the Deputy Minister for Employment and Social Welfare who was at the event thanked the President H.E. John Mahama for ensuring that the Black Stars qualified to the world football fiesta and prayed that the fans who would go to represent Ghana as ambassadors would comport themselves proving that they come from a hospitable nation.

The representative of SIC Insurance Company Bernice Boachie, who is a Business Development Manager said they want everybody who travels with Bahmed to arrive and leave safely. He said Emirates Airlines is going to lead all airlines to Brazil and believes the national team of Ghana, the Black Stars are going to put up a good show to improve upon previous performances at the World Cup and possibly win the trophy. He prayed for the security, safety and comfort of the fans who would be cheering and chanting Ghana in Brazil.

Other personalities who graced the occasion were Honourable Rita Odoiley of the Dadekotopon Municipal Assembly, Hajia Alima, a former member of the Council of State, Alhaji Lamin, a director of champion club, Asante Kotoko and Madam Naana Atakora, Head of Sales at Emirates Airlines.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh has formed four committees to ensure that all customers are served well and satisfied. They are for Supporters, Travel & Tourism, Finance and Media. Some supporters groups who were at the launch to thrill guests were the Great Africa Supporters Union (GASU) led by Horoya, the UNISON Supporters directed by Mariam Buckman, and the COMPLEX Supporters group headed by Auntie Mary of Kumasi Asante Kotoko fame.
