Medeama request for Kotoko duo

The management of Medeama SC has officially written to champions Asante Kotoko requesting for the services of duo Michael Mensah and Kofi Agyare, footy-Ghana understands.

The Mauve and Yellow according to our sources identify the duo as one who could strengthen their squad as they ready for their maiden participation in the CAF Confederation Cup set to begin in February next year.

Striker Michael Mensah only returned from a loan spell at Wa All Stars last season and has made just one start for the porcupine warriors this season while centre back Kofi Agyare who had an impressive pre-season but got injured has featured thrice since returning to fitness.

It remains to be seen if Kotoko will 'entertain' Medeama's request especially for centre-back Kofi Agyare who earned special praise from head coach Mas-Ud Dramani after their 3-0 romp of city rivals King Faisal in the Ghana Premier League last week.

The second transfer window of the 2013/14 Ghana Premier League opened last Monday with deadline day set for December 11 at 5pm.
