Hearts, Paramount distilleries in partnership

The National Chapters Committee of League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, are collaborating with Paramount Distilleries based in Kumasi to raise one billion cedis to enable the club win next year's CAF Champions League.

As part of the initiative, Paramount Distilleries has introduced on to the Ghanaian market two brands of alcoholic beverages using the club's logo. They are "Phobia Power Gin Bitter and Phobia Dry Gin."

The company similarly, on Tuesday, signed a five-year agreement worth ?1.5bn with Kumasi Asante Kotoko to market two new products, London Dry Gin and Power Gin Bitters with the logo of Kotoko.

A statement issued by the Hearts Chapters Committee in Accra on Wednesday and signed by Nana K. Obuobi, Public Relations Officer, said the newly introduced brands would be officially launched on Tuesday 12 November in Accra.

The launch has been programmed to coincide with activities marking the club's 91st birthday and a sixth consecutive league title celebration. It urged all supporters to join in the celebration that would be followed by a massive carnival.
