Premier League Clubs Advised ...

To Provide Medical Services At Match Venues

The Ghana Football Association has asked Premier League clubs to provide medical services at their venues during competitive matches.

Some clubs have not complied fully with this directive which has been stipulated in the GFA regulations and the Association has therefore called for a strict adherence to it.

Article 42.1 of the GFA regulations states that: “The host Club of any competitive match shall ensure that a qualified medical practitioner or paramedic is in attendance throughout the game. It is mandatory for host club to keep an ambulance and a crew or a standby vehicle at the match venue for the duration of the match”.

Match officials have therefore been entreated to strictly enforce this regulation and ensure that no League match shall be played without its observance.
