Berekum Chelsea claim Lokko capture

The hierarchy of Premier League runners up Berekum Chelsea has claimed the capture of Amidaus professionals head coach Tony Lokko as the club’s new head coach.

Sources close to Berekum Chelsea told footy-ghana.com that barring any last minute setbacks, Lokko will sign on the dotted line.

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC had been involved in a fierce battle to secure Lokko’s services, and the final decision was left in the hands of Lokko’s manager, Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Footy-ghana.com understands that Lokko’s destination will be fully confirmed today by Amponsah.

In a related development, footy-ghana.com can confirm that Berekum Chelsea did not renew the contracts of most of the members of the technical staff.

With the exception of Annor Walker, who still has a contract with the club, most of the coaches saw their contracts expire, but the club has declined the opportunity of renewing the contracts.
